The history of Mylands begins in 1884, when “”Honest”” John Mylands opened his modest store in the heart of Lambeth. Unlike other artists of the day, John was completely passionate about the art of color, insisting on using only the finest materials to create vibrant, flawless colors of guaranteed quality.

Today, Mylands is still in Lambeth as the last paint manufacturer to remain in London.
